DOCTOR KNOW THYSELF
The pomposity’s of doctordom,
Are enough to make a patient run,
In the opposite direction,
From where they have been coming from.

And if one were oft to have true facts,
They’d find a field of greedy quacks,
Which all of us would much prefer,
To have discarded from our backs.

It hurts at times these things to say,
And this attitude I now display,
They’re not a joy in any way,
And not for me a form of play.

You might just think that I’m a bum,
Who knows not where he’s coming from,
Or have been hurt before by some,
But all’s not true,
For I am one.
